Practice Analysis:

A practice analysis collects data on the practice areas and professional activities of current field DACBRs. Typically, this is accomplished by detailed, anonymized survey by a representative sample of the current DACBR active membership. Practice analysis is used to inform initial certification eligibility criteria and examination development. This ensures ACBR requirements and assessments are congruent with the necessary skills and abilities required for contemporary practice.

The findings for the 2012 practice analysis are published in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics (JMPT) which is linked here: 2012 Practice Analysis

Practice analysis are periodically repeated to identify current practice trends. The ACBR is currently developing its next practice analysis.

As of June 2024, there have been 358 DACBR certificants.
