Purpose:

The ACBR conducts certification examinations that are designed to evaluate the competency of candidates in the specialty of radiology, particularly as applicable to a clinically practicing chiropractor. A competent candidate possesses the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to function as a chiropractic radiologist to an acceptable standard, which ensures quality, appropriateness, and safety of radiologic services within the larger spectrum of health care services. The scope of these examinations is commensurate with the expectations of post-doctoral residency training and is supported by professional practice analysis.
